What Guests Are Saying
Signal Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting right next to Jackson Lake, with clean facilities, running water, and a variety of amenities, including boat rentals and dining options. Campers appreciate the wildlife, privacy of sites, and great views, although some sites have limited lake visibility and issues with electrical service. While the campground is popular and can be pricey, many visitors express a desire to return due to the serene atmosphere and access to nature.

The site was fine - easy to find, a good size, and parking was more than adequate for my small SUV. The sites are very close together and I could see and hear all of my neighbors. That said, no one was up very early and campers were mostly respectful of their close neighbors. The housekeeping staff were monitoring the bathrooms consistently and this campground even provides a bucket at the water spigot to ensure you fire is out. The mosquitoes were out in full force. Even with repellent, burning sage, and burning citronella candles, I left with about 50 mosquito bites. No exaggeration. The Jenny Lake area was very crowded so one day we decided to head to the Colter Bay area. Much less crowded with beautiful trails around lakes.

Campsite was bigger than I thought, fit one good sized tent just fine (no room for two tents). I had a site that was without a tent pad. Plenty of shade, close to the restroom. Nice to be able to wash dishes with hot water provided out of the faucet, unheard of for camping in my years of experience. Showers were awesome, hot, private room that was spacious, wall heater to keep you warm when changing, plus good water pressure. Laundry room was okay. Many of the dryers don’t work well. It took us 4 attempts in the dryer to dry our big blanket, but when we told the campground that the next day they compensated by giving us a lot of tokens to make up for it. Great service! A lot of mosquitos in the evening, but that’s to be expected. Loved it here!

Amazing campground, however sites are a bit close to each other and had some annoying campers next to us.

We enjoyed Signal Mountain Campground. We were blessed to have site 9 on the Lake with beautiful view of the Grand Tetons.
The sites are spaced just far enough to have privacy but also meet new friends which we did.
