Loved our stay at Fremont campground. The camp host, Lynn was kind, flexible, available, she goes out of her way to make sure campers have a good time! Did I say kind! Wish all camp hosts were like her! No shade at our campsite, #2 but table and benches large. Lots of shade by the lake and it wasn't crowded even though campground was sold out. We paddle boarded.

Beautiful campground! We had a more private site, the mule deer came to visit. The bathroom was clean. The only thing that I would have against, is the road coming into the campground, it’s rough.

NIce big site with some shade which is always a plus. We couldn't see the lake from our site (20) but that was okay. We found some trees nearby to hang our hammocks, since our site didn't have enough to hang them. It was a very quiet campground, which was great. I loved having a water spigot very close by. The garbage bin was far enough that we had to drive our trash to it, but not a big deal. It was fairly close to town so we could run and get a few groceries pretty easily. Very pretty place.

The campground is pretty and easy to find. The easy access to the lake made my kayaking that much more fun. I enjoyed walking on the paved roads especially in the evening. I will be back.

This is a great place to camp. It would be nice if there was a dump station and water fill on site

I love this campground. I first stayed here on a backpacking trip in 1979. At that time I had the site at the very, very end of the campground & loved it. They have since removed that site - the picnic table is still there for day use. The water is refreshing, there are rocks & sand to swim & very few to no bugs the last week of June. Campground host (I'm assuming) came by every morning & cleaned the bathroom, which was always clean anyway! Have nothing but good things to say other than the super rude dude trolling in the pontoon just off shore at 6:30 am back & forth with trolling boards. He had two dogs - one of which barked NON-STOP! I don't know how he stood it but it almost seemed he was enjoying tormenting the campground. (certainly not the campground's fault!)
All in all one of my favorite campgrounds. Only thing that would be nice would be dumpsters (not that I generated much trash) and I understand the cost involved & probably the abuse!
I have Verizon and at the end of the campground I had 2 bars of LTE coverage - could use the internet pretty well. It got a little sketchy going through the campground though so not all sites may have had the coverage I did.

Beautiful lake. Sites are nice but right on the loop road. Most have limited access to the lake itself but if you can get there, the lake is awesome. Caught plenty of smallish trout right from shore. Bathrooms are average. Road is tight getting in. If you have a large rig you may struggle getting around the bends and up and down the steep approach. Each site had picnic table and fire ring. Reasonable, but not great, separation between sites. There's not much for a few miles up the road so come in prepared with whatever you need.

Would highly recommend this gem of a campground, hidden away on a beautiful large lake . Has large sites, nice beach.
