We have camped here twice and we absolutely love it. It’s very open and campsites aren’t crammed together. Very conveniently located if you are wanting to see Mammoth Springs and Lamar Valley.

Great views from all the sites, elk in campground, convenient to Mammoth Hot Springs town and road to Lamar Valley. Excellent cell signal, which was nice to have for planning travel in variable weather. Clean and well-maintained.

The reservations to camp @ Mammoth is a joke! May I suggest when you OPEN up the Reservations do it for the entire month. That way you can choose the dates you want, instead of the dates that are only available for the 1st two weeks of the month. Moving sites are a pain!! Please revamp the way Reservations are made!! They are a mess!!
