What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

This was our first trip camping in out new camper. It was fantastic. Ppl at the gate were so nice and helpful. Easy getting around the park and finding out spot. The spot was clean and a view of the lake. One they I would advise, take some baby powder/comet or ant spray for the ants. Little tiny ones, they was fast to invade, not biting, just came to hang out with us in ac when it got hot, but not a problem. Its a great place to camp!!

The grass hadn’t been cut in a month. You couldn’t go to the bathroom house because it was so hot in there because you won’t fix the air or at least put an exhaust fan in there.

It's a very pretty park, we have stayed here many times. The ranger and volunteers are friendly and helpful.

Great place , quiet and enjoyable . Had site 6 . There was an issue with flying insects but a large fan helped but the flies were tough to get over .

This was a decent place. Thankfully our site was in the shade. We were by the water, but could not see the water due to overgrown shrubbery. My site seemed to have grown up weeds all around. I was also concerned about people speeding through the campground, as I had 3 small children playing around.

A little improvement is needed in making this a favorite again. There is a fish house, beach.

The park was lovely and clean. A lot of birds were singing and we had a restful stay.
On our walks we saw chipmunks.
Our site was large with a great view of the sunrise.
The park had a notice ab
Argentine ants but we didn’t see them.
