We are somewhat new to camping and found this park to be fantastic! Beautiful, clean, easy to maneuver within and very well kept. We would love to come back soon!

This was my first time staying at a COE campground and I really enjoyed the stay. The spot, #12, was very level (side to side). I arrived early (around 1:00pm) on a Wednesday for a two night stay and host would not let me enter because a camper who had not checked out yet was still in my spot. I drove to the day use area and waited 1 1/2 hours before my spot was empty (host called me). When I was finally allowed to enter campground, I was amazed there were so many empty spots, well over half of the camping spots were empty and remained that way through my stay. I was curious as to why camp host didn't offer me another spot when I first arrived, but didn't ask. I did enjoy my stay, very nice and peaceful. Gnats bothered me from about 3:00pm until sunset each day and being a wooded area, I was surprised there weren't many mosquitoes after sun went down, although I didn't sit outside much at night. I was amazed at the amount of song birds in the area and enjoyed seeing and hearing them. There are two dump stations, very clean, and easily accessible allowing me to take my time emptying my tanks when I was leaving. I will go back as it is a very nice campground.

We were in the Shady loop which is the only FHU loop in the campground. We had no trouble getting our 42 foot 5th wheel around in the park, but there are some low hanging branches around. The concrete pads are level but many of the driveways are fairly steep. Some of the sites are very short. Many of the water connections are on the patio side at the rear. There are only two bath houses in the campground. Each one has a washer and dryer. The dump station is a double but the trash dumpsters are very near the entrance. The gate is locked from 10 to 7. There is no Wi-Fi but good Verizon coverage. There were no stores nearby. There is a Family Dollar and Dollar General in Fort Gaines.

First the guy at the gate wish I would have gotten his name. But the one at the campground entrance was not polite or helpful at all and very rude to the point I had to raise my voice with him. Big thing no golf carts are ridiculous especially when you tent camp. Having to walk to the facility’s is unnecessary. Another huge issue is the exit gate is pad locked after 10 pm. That should be an automatic gate. I should not have to wake anyone up to unlock a gate to take my daughter home because she got sick. What if it was a real emergency. To much time wasted trying to get out. I have no Intention on staying at this camp ground again

Very nice campground and hope to be returning for another stay soon.
Would recommend taking a short ride to visit Abbeville after dark. We enjoyed seeing the Neon Lights that is in downtown area.

Had a pull-thru slot, site 16, and loved it. Cell service was spotty from this site but managed a 1 bar 4G LTE. Got 12 TV channels on roof top antenna. The grounds were very clean as were facilities; fish cleaning station, pavilions, showers, public bathrooms, and swimming areas.

Loved the quietness of it. The lot we got was good. The only problem was the lady at the front gate was not very nice. She was snappy about questions if asked. But all in all it was good. I would stay again.
