Another nice COE campground. COE's are the best deal, IMHO, for RV camping if you have an America the Beautiful pass to get 50% discount, which will result in nightly camping fees of $12-15 per night. I've been in many COEs (Eastern and Southern US) and all have been clean with decent to large sites and decent to good spacing. Hardridge Creek fits this mold. In particular, if you can get one of the sites on Pirates Cove (PCOV loop) you'll be blessed. PCOV is a small peninsula (8 sites, #38-45) into the lake with fairly private sites at the waters edge. Really sweet! Hardridge Creek also has pretty good cell coverage for Verizon and ATT.

We love Hardridge Creek campground. With most campsites having waterfront access we are typically able to put the boat in the water, pull up to our campsite, and leave it in until we are ready to leave. The campground also typically gets fairly quite at a decent hour which is a plus for those of us that tent camp. We have not had to use the showers but the restrooms have always been clean so I would assume the showers are also tidy. The playground is also a plus when we have the kids and during the summer the beach is a must do for our 3 year old.

We always enjoy staying at Hardridge Creek. It is taking some adapting getting used to not having full time contract hosts but so glad we had the volunteers step up and keep the campground open. Thanks to the COE for allowing them to volunteer and not close the campground this year.

Hardridge Creek is a beautiful waterfront park. There is a clean sandy beach just steps away from many sites. This is a great family camping spot. The park host was very friendly and helpful.
Bring your canoe or kayak for some open water paddling or fishing.
