Beautiful park, quiet. We are heading back soon. Only complaint we have is that the camp host on site that day was very rude. Other than that, fabulous trip!

We only stayed one night, while passing through, but would love to come back again! Sites were really close together, but most were on the water, with easy access from our site. Not many campers in my loop, which made the experience much nicer. I imagine that it is quite busy in the summer, which would be a detractor for me. The bathrooms were heated, which was great, and a sign said there was a free washer and dryer for campers use, but I didn’t look in to see them. I also didn’t use the shower, so no comment. The man at the front check-in hut was very friendly and accommodating, despite us arriving only a few minutes before closing, when they lock the gates. We forgot to account for central time zone. Sites were concrete pads with gravel and mostly level. Pleasant experience.

I love this campground, and we like to get the low numbers, they are easy to get into md not as many trees to dodge! Lol! They’re all good sites, close to the water even if not on the water.
