This is a small campground area size, but has 130 campsites spread among 4 loops. 98% of the campsites were at water's edge. Driveways and camping pads were narrow, but campsites were generally spacious as well as distance between campsites. Not much privacy as very little vegetation was evident. Restrooms were clean. No volunteer hosts, as maintenance and check in were performed by contractors. Gates are locked at night and only opened in case of "emergency", however there must be some exception as the rig next to me arrived at 9pm. As I am finding with many COE campgrounds, many of the campers are local. This is a great little campground, esp if you bring your fishing gear or boat. Not so good for hiking as trails are very short.

Right on Lake Eufaula! Fish in your backyard. There were no issues with the site, power, or showers, which were the best I have seen so far. After it warmed up and the rain passed the swamp came alive! Lots of birds my favorite part. Not to far out of town. Security was good no issues. The personnel were great. Plus you can stay for 28 days giving you plenty of time to look around the area. Since it was fairly close to Florida it was a lot warmer than North Georgia. It even SNOWED there were over 12 inches on my campsite. Hilarious watching my cat go out into it. I had a great time

Spacious sites, right on the lake. One issue I find which could be a safety concern. There was a tree, about 30 ft tall next to my trailer that was dead and rotted. During the night in high winds limbs and chunks of it would rain down on my trailer. I think maintenance should take a look at all the trees at each site and remove the dead ones. Trees falling over, especially dead ones are not uncommon. If one were to hit a trailer in the middle of the night could have severe consequences.
