White Oak Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among campers. Many enjoy the spacious, well-maintained sites, particularly those by the water, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere despite some noise from motorized boats. Sites are large, paved and mostly level. They include a fire ring, grill, picnic table and small heavy duty wooden table. Most sites are directly on the lake. There are several playgrounds and a large fenced dog park. The bath house is standard issue and was clean. The dump station was clean. We stayed in site #3.

Our visit was in January 2025 (shoulder season) easy check in, the restroom as farther then desired for someone handicapped.

Great campground but my main dissatisfaction is when COA campground lock campers inside the campground. I totally understand locking the gate to prevent entry by non-campers but I cannot not see how you can justify locking campers in; there is no sensible justification for this. No hotel does this, no state park or private campground that I know of does this and if they do they give campers a gate code to allow them to go and come at will. This particular host said he was obligated to let me out but was not obligated to let me back in until regular gate hours. Why, WHY do you lock people IN? This treats us like we don't have any sense of responsibility. In a real emergency, having to wait on the host to answer the phone, get to the gate and unlock it could waste precious minutes. Please, stop locking the exit gate. I HATE THIS and vehemently disagree with it.

White Oak is a beautiful campground. Bobby was on duty when we arrived. He was extremely kind and helpful. The campsites are very clean, and well appointed. The bathhouses and laundry are clean and warm when it’s cold out.
We came to the area for my husband and kids to hunt. Unfortunately this campground locks the gates from 10-7. There were nights when we got in late, and had a very difficult time getting in to get back to our camper due to the gate issue. The boys were unable to hunt early morning hunts due to not being able to get out of the gate before 7am.

White Oak Creek Campground, maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers, is on beautiful Lake Eufaula, a huge body of water having over 600 miles of coastline. The park is very well managed, with clean and tidy campsites that are not too close to one another, affording the camp guest some privacy; the park also maintains clean bathrooms and shower areas within; a functioning washer & dryer room adjacent to the bathhouse. In sum, a very nice place in which to camp out.
