We had the most incredible camp host experience! The entire campground was immaculate and the hosts were happily present. Our site was private with a peaceful stunning view. Perfect place to post up while exploring the surrounding communities of Flagstaff and Sedona. Only amenity I missed was a hot shower. I’d come back in a heartbeat, such a beautiful place.

My partner and I did a cross country trip and stopped here for an evening. Aside from rowdy neighbors, this place was very lovely. The hosts were kind and were good about checking up to make sure everything was okay. We would stay here again.

Drive 12 miles northeast of Flagstaff on US 89. Turn east (right) on FR 545 (toward Sunset Crater) and drive 2 miles to Bonito Campground. Campground entrance is just before the entrance station of Sunset Crater National Monument
