My partner and I did a cross country trip and stopped here for an evening. Aside from rowdy neighbors, this place was very lovely. The hosts were kind and were good about checking up to make sure everything was okay. We would stay here again.

Sites are spaced apart but not a lot of understory. Pretty location.

Wonderful campground hosts, clean restrooms, quiet camping @ site #23. Sunset Crater very nearby is really interesting and has several trails accessible for everyone. Large wildfire a few years ago burned tens of thousands of acres but the Parks Service has done very well getting it back open safely.
