This place is nice and quiet and lots of space between sites. It has great access a couple miles down the road to Tusayan and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This is one of our favorite campgrounds and we have even hiked to Tusayan on some trails from the campground. There are also some other trails and forest roads for hiking. Special thanks to Lee our camp host who showed me a downed tree from a lightning strike that was first come first serve for free firewood. He even helped me cart some of the wood back to our campsite with his cart. If you have an EV there is an Electrify America and a Tesla super charger set up in Tusayan, and some slower but free charging in the park.

This is a beautiful campground. Everything is clean and well maintained. The only issue I had was that the site was small. There are large (huge) rocks at the end of the pad which makes to park farther forward than you could without them. (rear overhang)

Amazing location for accessing the Grand Canyon. We tent camped for 2 nights mid Sept and the sites had everything we needed. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled very clean as well. There is a small village with a market and food nearby as well. Would camp here again.

The challenge is filling fresh-water tanks, especially after the Grand Canyon's flash flood broke the trans-canyon pipeline. It was possible to go into the park to take on water and dump tanks before the flood.

We really love this campground. While we don’t visit the Grand Canyon every time we go, we love how the sites are spread out and you feel like you’re dispersed camping. One of our fav campgrounds!

Great site and close to the canyon. Will be back. Sites aren't on top of each other. Lots of shade. Don't forget to bring your own water.

Spacious sites, clean restrooms, quiet and peaceful. A hidden gem just outside of the Grand Canyon National Park. Will definitely be going back!

The campground was very clean and quiet. It felt like we were way deep in the woods but we weren't. The host was very pleasant. It was just what we expected.

General
- COMMERCIAL TOUR GROUPS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT TEN-X CAMPGROUND Commercial operators MUST obtain a special use permit to operate on National Forest System lands, including Ten-X Campground. Due to high public demand, Kaibab National Forest will not be issuing any special use permits for Ten-X Camground until further notice. Therefore, no commercial tour groups are allowed at Ten-X Campground. All violators will be removed from the campground immediately and given a fine for violating the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Single campsites accommodate a maximum of 8 people and 1 vehicle. Double campsites accommodate a maximum of 14 people and 2 vehicles. Groups that arrive with more people than allowed will be asked to move and will be charged for an additional site. Additional vehicles may be accommodated depending on the site. Each additional vehicle is subject to a $5/night fee
- No utility hookups
- Generators are allowed at Ten-X Campground. Generators can only be operated from 6am to 9pm.
- Limit of 15 vehicles per group site
- Due to limited water supply, RVs are not allowed to fill up at the campground
- No dumping of waste or grey water inside the campground; there is a dump station and water fill inside Grand Canyon National Park
- No shower or laundry facilities; these services are available inside Grand Canyon National Park
- Pull-through sites can accommodate up to a 35-ft. RV
- No use of off-highway vehicles inside this facility
