It's close to the Grand Canyon. We rode our bikes from Tusayan to the GC on the Greenway. Paved the whole way.

Amazing campground! The sites were clean, spacious, and quiet. The pit toilets were also very clean. Easy to get to Tusayan and into the Grand Canyon. Can't wait to return.

My sister and I where traveling/camping in the Southwest (in late September). I booked the campsite for its proximity to Grand Canyon. It worked out great. When we first arrived we scoped out our site, and did not like it (only because the car had to be parked sort of on the road). We spoke to the host, who had no problem with us choosing a different site. The campground was not crowded this time of year. The bathrooms are pit toilets, they were clean. Site was a good size, and not to close to neighbors. Site had a picnic table and fire pit with cooking grill if needed. There were no fire restrictions so we could enjoy a fire. Very quiet at night, and amazing views of the night sky. We stayed 2 nights and loved it.

The camp ground is clean the spots are big enough for big rigs. We booked 4days on line then we moved to the first come first serve Rv spots to stay an extra 10 days to get our truck repaired in Flagstaff. The camp host Steve and Connie were wonderful! Really peaceful here.
The park is close to south entrance to Grand Canyon and the little town of Tusayan has a small grocery store Starbucks McDonald a We cook pizza (awesome) plus a few other restaurants! Great place to camp.

The campsite was beautiful! Very clean (bathrooms included) and we loved how much space there was between campsites. It wasn't very packed at all and the stars at night were beautiful! The camp host were friendly and came to check on us about once or twice a day (morning/night) Linda even gave our little kiddies some glow sticks and a glow football! This was their first camping trip and they absolutely loved it. Everyone was at the campground were respectful about quiet time after 9pm. Would most definitely come back!

I was disappointed about my stay. The site itself is good. I had plenty of space for my tent and other things. But music from a nearby group and the around-the-clock generator noise from a neighbor required me to sleep with earplugs in. NOT the reason for me to go camping. Also, the nearby airport causes a lot of airplane noise. The toilets are clean, but the flies and smell make them far from ideal.
