Decent ground for spikes and non freestanding tents, okay signal, 15 minutes outside the Grand Canyon, spaces decently far apart but plenty of tree coverage between.

Close to the Grand Canyon, very clean pit toilet bathroom with fully stocked toilet paper. Would recommend.

Spacious site. Quiet and clean. Elk wandered through and coyote serenaded us at night.

Very nice campground. Most sites are huge, so much so that using a generator should not bother neighbors. No hookups so be prepared for boon docking. The staff there is very friendly and most accommodating. Numerous trees offer some shade but the forest floor is mostly clear of vegetation. We were one of only a handful of campers so we enjoyed the solitude and privacy. We saw a single elk and two coyotes all of which gave us a wide berth. A park ranger thought a recent nearby forest fire may have resulted in the scarcity of wildlife. Park is 10 minutes from Grand Canyon, very convenient. We had a great 3 day stay.

Site #35 is amazing. Had 3 tents setup (including one 10 person tent) and room for more. Pull through driveway could easily fit 4 cars if need be. Close to restrooms (a bit of a walk to the water) and hiking trails. Fire ring, grill, and table all were in good condition. Only downside (aside from the 5 min walk for water) is the construction - but that's only temporary. Plus it clearly didn't bother the Elk (so many Elk walking around the site) so why should it bother me. Plus the construction meant free firewood!!! Host was knowledgeable and friendly. Just a 5 min drive from nearest town and 15 minutes away from the Grand Canyon South Rim visitor center. I have been camping for decades and this rates as one of my top 3 sites ever.

We chose this campground because we needed a campsite that accommodated our 32’ RV and tent camping for a friend. This campground was perfect. The sites are large and the campsite was quiet. The camp hosts were very nice and even alerted us to some free wood for our nightly campfire. There were several warnings about construction and the possibility of noise. Occasionally we heard the fain sounds of backup bells but rarely. It is very close to shopping if you need to pick up last minute supplies and only a 20-30 minute drive to Mathers Point Visitor Center in the Grand Canyon. The only thing that would have made it completely perfect was if they offered a dump station on site, but even that was easy because an RV park in the nearby town was able to accommodate that need for us for a minimal charge.
