Entire campground is covered by jellowjackets from 4am to 8:30 pm. Had to leave in a hurry once we started to cook food. Water station was swarmed. Best yet you can’t get your money back.

Making reservations before trip online was a headache. I must have tried 10-15 times to find an open site and get the reservation to go through. I ended up only booking for 3 days that were sequential....was the only thing I could find for us. I purchased those 3 days. Then when we got to the Ten X Campground we extended our stay. there were reserved sites all over the campground which didn't end up being used. We like the place. We see that the Forest Service has added 2-3 new areas for camping and we are excited about going back. The Host and Hostess were personable and very helpful and very pleasant.

My campsite was dirty, not from litter or trash. But after years of occupation, the ground was a half inch thickness of dry, dusty dirt. Footprints were left everywhere. It's like a little cloud of dust would waft up with every step. It made your shoes, socks, and feet dirty. That's one reason I left the campground 2 days early. I saw a few areas where pink gravel had been laid down and this made for much cleaner walking. This was my 3rd time camping at Ten-X but am afraid it will be my last.

Great location, lots of privacy. Felt like we were the only ones there, no traffic. I gave it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ only because all services where closed due to fire restrictions. No fire pit, no grills, no trash. ( I UNDERSTAND FOR FIRE, BUT TRASH) Lots of small bees around our food... Smell from the restrooms was bad, it reached all the way to the ramada.
We camped at group site B

We liked the space (58) we picked from other reviewers. The space was large enough for our rig and tow car. We were far enough away from the other campers so it was nice and quite. It was very close to the town and close to the south entrance of the Grand Canyon.
One improvement would be showers in the campground. It's a pain to have to go into the park just for a shower. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating.
