We stayed here during Labor Day weekend and it’s possible that every campsite was reserved. Even though it was a busy weekend, there is enough space between each campsite. The toilets are clean, easily accessible, and do not smell (although they’re full of flies).
I noticed that others had complained about a lot of yellow jackets, but I only saw two.
As others pointed out, if you are not familiar with this camp site, you definitely have to arrive during daylight in order to find your campsite, as the number signs are very small and can be difficult to find at night.

It is a nice location in relation to GC national park but that was it. There’s no running water/sinks and our site was infested with yellow jackets. We couldn’t cook or enjoy any food or morning beverages and my husband was stung. We had wasps inside our car everywhere just from trying to pack up. It was awful. There’s also no ranger on-site or anyone to talk to. There’s a kind volunteer on a golf cart but it’s hit or miss if you find him, and if you call the phone number it just rings and rings.

Beautiful spot, you’re really in nature, very spacious, but also very basic. No Flush toilets (but for flush toilets really clean and smell wasn’t bad at all) and no water at the campsite.

The campground locates in a forest and it is quiet during the night. It is a little far from the dumpster (needs driving). We arrived during the monsoon season so the ground is bit wet and some soil sticked on the tent, so we have to dry it before putting it back into the bag. There was also wasps alert issued during our stay which requires some attention. We also spotted a little snake near the water station. Overall it was a great stay.
