What Guests Are Saying
Ponderosa Campground offers beautiful, spacious sites surrounded by tall pines, making it a favorite for many campers. The hosts are friendly and maintain the campground well, ensuring clean facilities and a pleasant experience. However, some sites experience noise from the nearby highway, and concerns about tree removal for maintenance could impact future visits.

There was a lot of people camping that didn’t want to follow the rules: loud music, ATV racing on the roads, kids be loud and unruly. The host tried to handle to the best of their ability, however, it can certainly be a challenge. I doubt we will camp at Ponderosa in the future

The sight was okay. We had a 29.6 toy hauler and it barely fit despite description saying 40ft. We had our truck in front of it so we had enough space barely missing the road. Trees need to be trimmed it scratched the sides with the narrow space ( we have no pop outs) the campsite was clean and bathroom was very close by and convenient to this spot. The dump spot was easy to use but only one way use. If their is traffic it would probably be difficult to get to so we had no problem. Host were great at giving rules and sharing important information. Nice quite place for family for sure.

Camp hosts were great. Friendly and helpful.
We love this campground as it's fairly extensive with its several loops and offers spacious, somewhat secluded sites.

Our main complaint is that park hostess said our fire had to be put out because it was too big. While a few in campsites had same or bigger fire. Hostess were respectful at all times but we as a family felt a little inequality in terms of fires. Thanks

This campsite is beautiful, with the Pondorosa Pines towering cathedral-like over the colorful junipers and scrubby oaks. The individual sites are spacious, clean and safe, thanks to the bear boxes for safe food storage.
