What Guests Are Saying
Ponderosa Campground offers beautiful, spacious sites surrounded by tall pines, making it a favorite for many campers. The hosts are friendly and maintain the campground well, ensuring clean facilities and a pleasant experience. However, some sites experience noise from the nearby highway, and concerns about tree removal for maintenance could impact future visits.

Highly recommend!
When we arrived, the signs made it easy to find our spot, which was already tagged with our name on the post.
The campsite was very clean. The picnic bench looked practically brand new, as did the bear box storage (which was very convenient).
Bathrooms were also very clean and appeared to be evenly spaced out throughout the campgrounds.
We stayed in A-09 which is the second loop from the front. There was some highway noise at night, nothing annoying, but when we come back I’ll reserve a spot further back.

Making the reservation was simple and fast. The Ponderosa Campground was clean and well kept. The campsite I picked was very large with plenty of flat area with a nice sturdy aluminum picnic bench., and a fire ring. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper daily. And, there was also a dumpster near my site to toss the trash in. It’s only a 20 min drive to town if you need supplies. Two thumbs up!

We did not stay at Ponderosa because we had problems with our motorhome. Tried to cancel online but the process was so complicated we gave up.

Beautiful campsite. A little close to the freeway in the A loop with the highway close by.

Site had a good distance away from others and very walkable to the bathrooms. Heavily treed, nice table and fire pit. Third time here and we’ll be back next year!
