Camp hosts Joe and Nancy are the BEST and one of the reasons we look forward to camping at Groom Creek Horse Camp.
Visiting horse camp is like staying with your favorite friends/family.
The Camp is clean, quiet and most Camp sites are tucked in between huge Ponderosa pine trees and boulders. Ice cold well water, a few out-house toilets and no electric outlets give it a more remote/ rugged feel. Only campers with horses allowed adds to the quiet and you will usually see someone you know!!

Joe and Nancy are very friendly and helpful. If I had a question they were there with the answer or knew how to get the answer. It was a pleasure to see them making their rounds and saying hi each day. The restrooms were very clean always a plus as were the grounds. I will be back and look forward to seeing them both.

Corral was clean and sturdy. Host was great. Trails were great. A bit of a hike to the bathroom from my site and there were javelina on the pathway.
