My son and wife were scared to sleep there because someone came up yelling at us at night time. He, had 2 dogs and said we didn't have reservations and was yelling at us. I told him I had the email with the confirmation. He just kept yelling and yelling. So it ruined our experience and we left a s soon as the sun came up. Couldn't sleep all night thinking he would come back.

Some sites look very nice. Obviously a lot of work was done to make these sites. Some have a peekaboo view of the lake. I think the description of my site missed one very important piece of information. The campsite was down in a hole and required a full flight of stairs to reach it. Not OK if you arrive late in the day for one night.

The lake, the surrounding area, and the campsites are in a beautiful setting, I always enjoy visiting Lynx Lake. Though the campsite was quite nice and very well kept, the restrooms were out of order and there are no services/supplies Monday thru Wednesday. The private store and eatery are only open Thursday thru Sunday. This means that in order to restock any needed supplies, anyone who drives a motorhome without a towed vehicle has to move the motorhome off it's leveled parked position, drive to the local store, and then relevel and setup all over again.
The other negative is that the trail leading down to the lake was very rocky and not quite as accessible for me, given that I was in a handicapped campsite. I have very bad knees and found traversing the trail quite painful.
One last negative is that the campsite's parking area was narrow and short for someone with a motorhome or towing a travel trailer.

Only complaint I have is that the water point next to my site #7B did not work after Wednesday and remained broken through the rest of my stay which was Friday morning.

Nice clean campsites, close 1/4 mile walk to get to the lake. Verizon Cell phone coverage was not the best.
