This is a great campground. But the problem is the bathrooms. We camped here in the spring for 3 days and the bathroom the mens bathroom nearest out site was closed the full time. This last trip the bathroom closest to our site the toilet was plugged up, and for two days people kept using it. It was discussing! It really makes you wonder how people only care about themselves and not the person that has to fit to toilet. And the next closest bathroom both the mens and woman’s side were closed. C’mon Forest Service get some toilets that work if not for the campers that are paying to use the campground, then do it for the poor people that it is their job to fix that gross mess.

Check in at 2 pm… check in where? I guess it is self check in. Maps and brochures state there is a marina store to buy firewood/supplies. I attempted to go to the store was immediately stopped by a girl who works there telling me it is not a store, hasn’t been a store since covid and that it is just a restaurant. I asked her how we check in and she had no idea and said she did not work for the campground and that all information should be posted at campground…. It wasn’t. I attempted to call the numbers that were on the brochure and recreation.gov provided numbers no one answered either.
When we arrived at our camping spot it was very well kept other than the previous people who stayed in this spot left trash, used toilet paper and feminine product trash in the fire pit, I cleaned it before we started our fire. Every bathroom we went to was broken and had no soap for the sinks either. I chose a “prime” rated spot thinking it was going to give me some space, it was close enough to hear our neighbors talking and hearing cars drive by all day.
Beautiful area though I can say that much.

Sooo many loops in this campground! It was a little challenging to find our site. The nearest (working) bathroom was quite a walk away. It was a fairly quiet campground in the loop we stayed in. The bathrooms were flush toilets which was great but they were not the cleanest.

This was a great campsite. We loved the Ramada and the spot was easy to get in and out of. However like all campsites the toilets are not vented properly so the bathrooms stink but luckily we had our own toilet for the most part to use most of the time.

Nice campground, however, there was no campground host around during the entire week. Upon arrival the site had not been cleaned as we found trash and the firepit still contained burned wood. The flush bathrooms were not cleaned at all during the week we were there and were a disaster.

Camp host was never seen. Bathrooms were filthy and out of Toliet paper. It looks like no one has been maintaining the camp grounds. It is a very well designed campground lots of privacy between spots, they just need to get a new camp host

We have camped in several places and so far this has been our best experience yet.
We camped in September so the weather was perfect and cool at nights. Since we camp during our days off, Sunday through Wednesday, there are less people. The campsite we chose because of the space was 12C and it was spacious. We
Also could walk straight down to the lake from the back of our site. It was really quiet there. No road sounds but the coyotes were pretty noisy. The bathrooms were very smelly though and their was no lights in there.
We also only had three steps down to the site. We had morning sun but not afternoon.
