Everything great. I was appalled an older couple was going through boxes of food at campsite across from us. The people were in a motor home with no car. I told them they would be back. When the campers came back half their food and volleyball were gone. I showed them the people’s campsite and they asked them what the campers wanted back! The comment was thrown not to leave your campsite unless you leave a sign you are coming back. The poor people were using a rental and doing a church retreat. All I have to say is lock down your food and equipment because there are rude people taking it!

Beautiful, clean campground! There is a hiking trail around the perimeter of the lake. Dog-on-leash friendly. We stayed in D15, which was just the right size for our 18 foot travel trailer and truck. Friendly and helpful camp host.

The only issue I had was that the area to back the trailer into was very narrow. You can not tell that by looking at the map or the pictures on the website. I am new to backing up a trailer so it was impossible for me to get the trailer in the spot. Fortunately for me, a ranger happened by and was able to help me.

Luckily the customer service individual found me a canceled reservation so I had a place to stay for the night. Much appreciated! I do think the service charge is high or should be waived if an additional reservation (due to a cancellation) should be waived.

Nice location but pit toilets were never serviced during our stay. Our site was on a small side loop, but saw a number of cars just driving by.

It was a lovely campground and close to a great little lake.. we would have enjoyed it more if we were not next to a large group of peoplevwgo partied all night, screaming, puking and fighting. According to campground rules, it’s a max of 5 people per site yet there were more, and quiet hours are at 10pm. The camp host was only a few spots from us so it was very disappointing that the rules were not enforced and it ruined our experience. People are rude and disgusting. We will probably not come back. It’s a shame because it was a beautiful and peaceful place apart from the crazy neighbors.

This was our first visit to Lynx Campground and we will definitely return! We camped on Loop D and a path down to the lake was just steps away from the campsites. The campground was quiet and peaceful and the camp host was fantastic. He was friendly and helpful as he made his rounds daily through the campground. He was also knowledgeable and advised us that it was tarantula season during our visit...which we appreciated. We saw several tarantulas during our 4 night stay, which we may have missed has the host not made us aware! The sites and grounds are well maintained and the campground is in close proximity to the amenities of Prescott if needed.
