Very nice campground. A well marked trail system was accessible right from the campground. One of the trails went to Goldwater lake.

Manny and Sheila your host at this campground are probably the perfect host I’ve ever experienced at a forest service campground. The campground is clean. They are cheerful and welcoming. They make your stay complete. Hang onto these two. These are the best host I’ve met.

The forest Ranger, who is supposed to maintenance the toilet and restock for toilet paper did not do their job until three days after we had moved in for our camp trip and when confronted about why they had turned off the water, the gentleman forest Ranger who seemed in charge rudely responded. It was on the website before I even had a chance to ask why and drove off without giving me proper response as far as for the campgrounds, they are clean, spacious and come with a concrete picnic table and a fire pit with a removable grill. Just make sure you pack adequately and note there is wildlife visitors in the night. Just make sure to have your food inside your car to avoid any run ins

It was great, my spot was excellent. Only bad part was we couldn’t park 2 cars in that spot. Had to pay $5 a night extra to park in the day use lot. There was plenty of room but the host wouldn’t be agreeable at all.

Fees are $14 a night which is reasonable for not having a shower available. However, they add an extra $8 reservation fee so your total comes to $22 if you only stay one night. For that you get no water, they turned it off November the 2nd???? The weather forecast shows 40 at night 70 during the day for the next 10 days!!!!!! Rediculus!!! The bathrooms smell as nasty as it can be. I will never stay there again.

Grounds were clean, host was engaged and helpful, spaces a bit close but not too bad. Love that we could hike multiple trails right from the campground. Will definitely return.

No complaints, my visit was enjoyable. It's nice to be able to camp at a primitive campground that is well maintained.
Thanks,
Bruce
