Nice spot to dry camp. Even tho there are no hookups with your RV, it’s very nice. There is potable water to fill your water bottles. It is clean and quiet. And close to stores and fuel.

Beautiful land and well designed campsites offering the most privacy they could. Camp Host was amazing! Wendy B. explained all I needed to know as my first time camping. She was very friendly and helpful.

A very nice and quiet place despite the loud noise of the cars on the street, its ranger very attentive and friendly, as a recommendation it would be good to place showers since we stayed several days and it is an uncomfortable and somewhat annoying topic.

The vault toilets were clean. Camp host was visible and helpful. Some road noise. Comfortable stay. Cell signal virtually non-existent so if FF are full you may need to head into town to book online.

My daughter's and I went to White spar campground and stayed at camp 36. We set up are tent on the lower level by the stone wall. We had a ten person rectangular tent and put the back of the tent facing the trees on the lower level. The right side of the tent slopes slightly. So we put our foldable beds with mattresses we got from amazon on the slop with the foot of the bed facing the road. We slept great. We also brought an octagon sunscreen with adjustable legs and put it over the fire pit. We truly enjoyed are time in the beautiful pines at White Spar.

Site #8 is not good for large trailers. It has a steep incline to get to the site, the pad itself is at a 90° turn and made it impossible to get our 30' trailer in. Luckily we were able to get a different site. Just be warned if you have a larger camper. Looks great for tents.

We stayed at site 15. Past reviews mentioned that it wasn't level, and I assumed it wouldn’t be a significant issue. However, it turned out to be a big deal! The site is a drive-through that has a steep sideways slant, making it quite challenging to level our trailer.
On a positive note, the campground was clean and well-kept. The pit toilets were, as expected, just pit toilets. There was some road noise, and a few campers ran their generators constantly, but that wasn't a major problem. The campground's proximity to town was convenient.
Overall, I liked the campground but wouldn't choose site 15 again because of the slant.
