On a map this campsite looks very close to the city of Prescott and while it very close the campsite doesn't feel it. It was honestly a great location for me to camp at night and also enjoy the hiking trails and downtown of Prescott. Camp Host was nice.

I would not stay here again. Someone ran their generator until close to 1 am, and the host did nothing. People walked continuously through my camp while I was sleeping, I assume to find short cuts to their camp, or to find the extremely loud party that went close to 4 am in the morning…again the host did nothing (never even seen the host when I was there). If you are planning on getting sleep before your next long drive or activity, I would avoid this place.

This is the second time I have been there and was very pleased. The campgrounds were clean and the camp host, unlike the last time I was there was extremely friendly knowledgeable and made us aware of any issues in the park. There were Javelina - traveled through the night but as long as you put your stuff away, you’re good - that’s just being a due diligent camper. I will definitely go back and recommend to fellow campers.
