We love this campground and specifically this campsite. We had another great stay. It seems like each time we go, it is a little different experience as the camp host changes but overall, for what we go for, you cant beat it. Close to town, in the pines, lots of space in this particular site, close to trails, etc.

Every other site was at least 25 percent bigger. We had no place to put our car and most campsites had a drive way. The bench that was provided was an old and splintery bench. The grill ring that was provided was significantly smaller than all the rest. It was very clear that this campsite was just quickly thrown together to just have an extra space. Please pick any other spot

Nice campsite. Love it's so close to Prescott yet it feels remote.

I was camped for one night in space number two. The space was left extremely clean even the fire pit was cleaned out. I had very nice neighbors not very much cell signal just a bar or two but enough to make a call. I can’t get over how much better kept this campground is than when I stayed here a couple of years ago. The Camp Host was just the nicest lady so unique keeping a really good handle on the campground. I am hoping someday that you’ll be able to open up the back section that seems to be closed every time I come there are some really beautiful campsites out there.

The campground was extremely nice for sites without water (although there are lots of spouts spread throughout for filling drinking water) or electric. Restrooms were well kept, sites were clean and ready. We are Mountain Bikers and were camping there to access trails on the Prescott Circle (have done that before) and were pleasantly surprised to find the completed Bean’s Peak Gravity Trails system right there at the parking lot. On the negative side though, we had Mountain Bike neighbors come Sunday afternoon with more vehicles than their site allowed, who kept driving around recklessly, blaring music, and generally disturbing the peace. We were wondering if it was going to continue and we would need to report it, but the camp host was very attentive and it ended up they were gone soon, not staying overnight. Maybe they just came to ride and have a campfire. PSA - Prescott is a very dry forested area, you will always need to be careful with fire. Enjoy!
