We enjoyed our stay. Neighbors were a bit noisy till midnight. Keep in mind toilets are outhouses and no electricity in camp sites but sites are spacious and beautiful among tall trees.

We've stayed at White Spar a few times now and have always had a good experience, would definitely recommend. This trip we saw a herd of deer a few different times and some other wildlife.

Very spacious site. Good access for sizeable rigs. It would be nice if the bathrooms had access to a drinking water spigot.

White Spar campground was clean. It was annoying hearing generators all night from some campers. There were also campers that wer playing their music loud that was annoying too.

Love White Spar! We are tent campers so there are limited spots that work for tents but the spots that do are great. The camp host was very helpful. A guest previous to us had dumped some ash and bbq briquettes over in some dried pine needles near the base of a tree (HUGE MISTAKE) but luckily they did not burn. other than that the campsite was super clean. We only discovered the huge fire hazard because we walked 10’ into the trees in our camp area (which was far from any other site). So it’s understandable why the host would’ve missed it when checking the site for the next campers.

Lots of wildlife so make sure to tidy up before going to bed. Couldn’t sleep as well bc of how loud the javalinas can be at night.
