Beautiful area. Nice large and level spot. There is some road noise from nearby highway but otherwise perfect.

Park well situated near trails and not far from Pescott City. Apart from the noise from a generator or 2 (fellow campers), a very agreable experience.

We really liked White Spar campground. It was not very crowded and very pretty. The two negative things about it were the toilets were never serviced and you had to take your own toilet paper. The other bad thing was an 5th wheel near by that was obviously being lived in had a generator that ran 24/7 all 3 nights we were there. Also they had a dog that was not on a leash. The "host" had a sign that said off duty. Other than that, it was a great place!

This was our first trip to White Spar Campground. The site we reserved online looked really nice. When we got there the site was on such a steep grade there was no way to level up the trailer. I spoke to the camp host and he gladly let us move to another location, which was flat and level. This was greatly appreciated, otherwise we would have had to go to another campground and pay again. There is a sign posted about keeping food put away due to bears, we didn’t see any thing, other than a few deer, which was really cool. I had read comments about homeless people, causing a nuisance and being disruptive, so I was a little concerned. There was none of that either. Very quiet clean campground. There’s a great barbecue restaurant just up the road called Simple b, you’ve got to try the brisket it’s to die for. I will definitely be coming here again, maybe one of the nicest quietest campgrounds we’ve been to.

The park manager was awesome! We loved the spacious campsite, and our camp neighbors were very nice people that were also enjoying their stay at White Spar Campground. While being in the beautiful national forest, we were still only a few miles from Prescott and many restaurants, stores, and activities!!

I camped at site #26 for two nights.
Comfortable, clean and quiet!
Camping solo can sometimes feel a little sketchy but I felt totally safe and enjoyed my stay very much!

In the forest but very close to town and the amenities. Pleasantly surprised that there weren’t many campers on Sunday and Monday night in late June. Quiet, appeared well-maintained and felt safe.
