I was worried about the other reviews that said the angle of the campground would make it difficult to level a trailer. I brought along some 2x10s, a saw and my drill and only needed 3 layers of wood (4.5") on the low side of the trailer to level it out.
Campground was very clean. Pit toilets weren't too bad. People came by and cleaned the floors and emptied the trash in the rooms daily. Slight road noise at night. We would definitely come back.
There's a hiking trail that originates from the first parking lot (Goldwater Lakes Trail 396) that is an easy 4 mile hike each way to the Upper Goldwater Lake. Trail is very shaded.

White Spar camp ground is amazing…close to town…but a “camp” experience…and hiking/mountain biking trails right from camp! Our favorite place to camp in Prescott for sure !

I have been camping all over AZ for a year now and White Spar is my favorite and only place I've been to twice. This gorgeous campground is well maintained and the staff are friendly. You just can't beat the smell of those pines every day. If you want quiet and solitude this is the place to go. The sites are very large and the restrooms are well kept.
