The Good...The campground itself is very nice. The sites are decently spaced, private, and lovely. The sounds of nature are all around. There are many trails around that can be accessed from the campground and the nearby area. Prescott has the beautiful lakes to visit, I preferred Goldwater. I enjoyed seeing birds that I don't see in my neck of the woods, there was also deer roaming around. The pit toilets are clean and well supplied. Anything you want is a few miles away if needed, cell service is super spotty.
The GREAT...Colleen!! She keeps things under control and makes her rounds , at all hours, to make sure everyone is enjoying their visit. She keeps things clean and she knows how to run a tight ship. You'll get a friendly violation if you deserve one!
Now to the not so good... This campground doesn't allow the option to modify your reservation. So, when Generator Jerry cranks up, you're stuck. Two other campgrounds that I have had the Rec.gov reservation did allow this option. One of the campgrounds had quiet hours starting at 8 PM, that's doable if you're stuck. This campground has the usual 10P to 6A quiet hours. Generators ruin a good time for those wanting to just listen to nature. I'll not be making a Rec.gov reservation again due to the fact that these campgrounds allow them.

Love the view and so many things you can do directly from the campground - hike, mountain bike, dual sport, downtown.
Campfires okay (sometimes), clean bathrooms, quiet.

Good, clean campground. There have been an unusual amount of RVs as of late, so beware to campers who want to hear nature. Its filled with the sounds of generators!

The host was a life saver. We have an unfortunate situation and needed to park early and she was very understanding and let us check in early. Beautiful campground, very friendly helpful staff.

This is a wonderful campground. Location is just outside of town but feels like it isn’t. Facilities are very clean and the campground is well kept. Our campsite was perfect for car campers and felt private.
