Lovely, clean, quiet, and dark (for viewing the night sky) campground. Picnic table areas leveled with lovely rock retaining walls. Most sites quite private. Beware, at the time we made on-line reservations the end of Jan. 2022 , we arrived to find the photo and descriptions on-line were one site off, so photo we saw was of site next to us. It all worked out for our truck camper though.
Camp host Rick and wife were great!!

This is the first rec.gov campsite we’ve visited since the pandemic that didn’t have hand sanitizer in the bathrooms - what’s up with that?

Nice little spot just down the road from downtown Prescott. Sits are a little close together but trees and brush creat some privacy.

Not enough walk in campsites! Unfortunately this campground has been taken over by greed and the need to get that reservation fee. At some point it's almost the same price of a hotel room or worth it to disperse camp. Campground itself is fairly ugly due to recent controlled burns. There is no water in the winter. What are we paying for?
