Very nice campground! Close to town but not too close. Access to great hiking and mountain bike trails. Clean and nice separate, spacious sites.

The bathrooms need better venting and/or chemical- they are the worst smelling toilets we have experienced in ourany years of traveling. Also, I understand not wanting to waste time changing names on the reservation posts but it should be walk-in, reserves, or open and then someone can pay and occupy an open for one night. To eliminate open and force people to go to rec.foc doesn't work for same day situations and the coverage isn't very good there anyway.

My wife and I lived nearby for several years and now come back camping several times a year. Beautiful Forest area, and hiking and mountain biking in area is top rate and we'll known. In fact, a large group of mountain bikers camped here then rode nearby trails while we were here. Our trailer fits in most sites here. Water is easily accessible here. We highly recommend this campground!

Lots of space between campsites. Nicely wooded and mostly quiet in the back part of the campground. Some road noise which would vary based on location. No access for RV to add water to the tank. Plenty of spigots but no threaded faucets.
