We love this campground and in particular site #10. We've been here twice before and this was the first time we saw the park ranger at all, who by the way was very nice. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and the trash was regularly emptied. We will visit here again. The location feels like it is way away from it all but is only three miles away from town if you need to pick up something you forgot.

We very much enjoy the White Spar Campground it is clean, quiet, close to Prescott, and beautiful! The reason we gave a low rating is campsite 18 is not at all designed for travel trailer use. The space to park your trailer is literally the road. There is no back in or pull through space, just a slightly wider shoulder, with large posts to avoid. We had to drive in the wrong way down a one way street, so that our door didn’t open into the road, and canopy open into the road. We have young kids and this could have been very dangerous. Then as other trailers and vehicles pulled in they had to try to miss our vehicle and trailer to make the turn. I am sure this site works great for tent camping but it should be a last resort for travel trailers or RV’s.

It was great. Only problem website said they sold firewood and they did not. We had to go into town to buy some. The camp hosts were very unhappy and not available much. Always had a sign out front that said off duty or something. We didn’t need them but....

This campground is convenient to a variety of hiking, biking and off-road vehicle trails. It's also convenient to downtown Prescott.

This was a perfect spot not too far from town but tucked away. The hosts were so kind and helpful. There was decent cell phone reception. Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest but that’s kind of expected when there are only vault toilets. Paid more than advertised on the sign though so that was a little disappointing but it was a last minute reservation so that could be why. Will definitely be back

Generators are out of control at WS. This is one of our favorite places to camp but lately every time we go there are several sites with LOUD construction site-type generators that run from 6am - 10pm without pause. I understand the convenience of generators...I have one (a quiet type) and only run it mid-day for about an hour to recharge batteries. I would recommend that you review generator hours and shorten them considerably. If people want to watch TV, they should stay home.

Amazing time. We saw deer at the campsite the first night. Finally able to enjoy a wood fire. Campsites are clean and have plenty of room between them. I have a longer camper and was still able to navigate my way through the campground with ease.
