What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

Beautiful campground, but there absolutely no rules or respect. Very overcrowded. Music blasting all day and evening. People parking any where there was space. Asked host to ask neighbors to turn music down and he never came by. Host didn't come by and check on anything. Saw the park ranger multiple times but they didn't say anything to anyone either. Sooooo disappointed.

This is a beautiful spot. The road into the valley are pretty rough but word is they will be paved soon. We were there just after Easter & to here was a lot of litter & trash to clean up but they were on it. See went from here to Roosevelt lake & I would say this is a much nicer campground.

The camp site was great and very clean, the view was amazing, but the bathrooms were some of the most disgusting I’ve ever been in. Do yourself a favor and bring a mask you can spray with cologne or perfume to help kill the smell.

PARTY PLACE! If you are wanting to camp to get away from the rat race of the city this is NOT the place to go! People yelling. Campers coming in at 3am and talking loudly. Dogs off leash. A dad and his kids were shooting a BB gun in the vacant campsite next to us! Toilets were awful. No campground host. There was a Recreation Area Host that was seen at his campsite, which is not very close to the campground. Never saw him in and around the campground. No cell service. We won't go back.
The lake and the view are beautiful. It's too bad a few people have to be so rude and ruin it for everyone else.

Gorgeous campsite in the spring. Apache lake was full and desert was lush. Single lane dirt road to get there can be tricky but still fine even to tow a trailer thru. Sites were well kept; about half had a covered ramada and all had a fire ring. Bathrooms were clean and convenient and drinking water was convenient as well. We will be coming back!

Site 67 is awesome. You can have a perfect view of the lake and the mountains. The campground is well maintained and all the facilities mentioned are up to the mark.
