Rustic campground in a beautiful spot. Vault toilet as expected…but they Ned to replace locks (or half of them?) on bathroom doors. They are easy to lock people out…despite signs and color coding…so one morning only one bathroom was unlocked and all the toilet paper was gone. Otherwise…my site was large and comfortable…and it’s the best priced lodging in Sedona!

Close distance to Sedona (20 minute drive) and surrounding trailheads in the area. Vert nice area with amazing views. No toilets or sinks but they have vault toilets with token operated showers. I really enjoyed my time in Cave Springs

Great place. Just far enough from town yet close to activities.

We loved our time here but some folks kept generators on, had extremely loud trucks that came and went at all hours and twice a car alarm went off. While the setting is peaceful, getting sleep proved to be challenging, ironically. Also the grates for the fires are not adjustable and ours was crooked and bent.

This was probably the worst trip I've taken. The spot I thought I reserved was somewhere different than where it is shown on the map here in recreation.gov. That and the fact that the reflective site number on the post was pointed the wrong way while I got there in the dark meant that I spent at least 45 minutes driving around the entire campground looking for it. I only stayed one night but reserved 3. I was just terribly disappointed and sandwiched between two loud families.
The creek was fun though. My pup enjoyed it very much.

Everyone keep asking me try this campsite since I went to camp many times a year. Some campsites are near to river. You can hike to river and play. Employees are amazing and friendly. fishing is good but reccomend strong string for it. Stunk was spotted at night if your food are still around or trash not toss yet. Squirrel are spotted in daytime. Blue jay and woodpecker, bats was seen. Firepit is deep and you can cook over the fire. Bathroom are awesome yet annoyed by people not reading warning about their door lock. Quiet and peaceful. Recycling cans there is good thing. Nice host offer to drop off my 4 woods for me at my campsite. It was chilly in October and we went through a storm. We will be back for sure!
