This is a gem of a campground right by Oak Creek with multiple places to swim or sit by the Creek - the main swimming hole does get busy, but mostly it's peaceful and there are a lot of places up the creek to sit. The campground is very well maintained, with pit toilets which are incredibly clean and showers up the road to use at a neighbouring campsite if needed for a small fee. The evenings are quiet and this place is such a treat near Sedona - it's also up the road from Slide Rock Provincial Park but the creek at the campground is just as fun and lovely and way less people!

Great location just outside of Sedona. Only negative was that roadwork was being done and due to one way traffic u can be trapped from getting out from time to time.

This is a fun, easy campground and is a great place to take kids. It is right on the creek, the tent areas are clean, have a fire/grill pit and a picnic table at each site. They sell bundles of firewood (bring cash) and there are 4 bathrooms on site. There are skunks and raccoons that like to get into your food, so make sure everything is locked tight at night. Also, since the campground is right off the highway, there is some noise from traffic. Other than that, we had a great time and would definitely go again!

Great location, nice swimming area along river. More should be done to keep campground clean.

To be honest I have stayed at many campsites throughout the United States national parks and this was very underwhelming. Pretty basic campsite, pit toilets, close campsites with little privacy. Proximity to down town Sedona is good, approximately a 20 min the drive out to camp at night is a dark and winding road and all nights we missed the turnoff! We had booked our reservation with multiple bookings to secure weekend nights and one night we came back to everything from our site gone. Thinking someone had stole our stuff, We ended up waking up the camp host to realize that she was the one who had completely taken down all our setup, thinking we left our stuff behind and that a different group was moving in despite the reservations being in the same name. It was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Would maybe consider staying here again if in a pinch but would explore alternative options!

Our family loved the campgrounds we took our Maltese puppies too and everyone had fun. From fishing at the creek that is steps away, to swimming, hiking just had a fun relaxing time. The campgrounds keepers are super nice and keep the place looking great. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a fantastic experience at Manzanita. The campground was clean and well groomed. It's a beautiful location next to the creek and we would definitely stay there again.
