What Guests Are Saying
Dogtown Lake Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and spacious campsites that provide a sense of privacy. The hosts are friendly and attentive, contributing to a positive camping experience. However, some visitors noted the lack of water access and additional fees for extra vehicles, which they felt were not justified given the limited amenities. Overall, it remains a popular spot for fishing and enjoying nature.

Long dirt road to get to site and once there - not a lot of shade at campsites.

Dog town lake was our first travel trailer camping experience and it couldn’t have been better. The campground host and hostess were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Starting to get crowded. The people have no consideration for fishers, people will come within 25 feet of you while fishing. Stand your ground. The campsite was great and we loved the location.

We really enjoyed the cleanliness and quiet of the campground. Though we didn’t catch any fish, the accessibility of the lake was great. My only ask would be to put something in the toilets to control the flies as the day gets warmer. All in all, a great time and will go back.

We enjoyed the campground, the host was very nice and the campground is clean including the vault toilets. There are no showers hence the 4 star rating. But even if there were showers it's the summer of 2020 and they would be closed anyway. I walked to the lake before sunrise and enjoyed watching at least 6 osprey fishing on the lake until an bald eagle flew in, that was an awesome sight! We don't fish but you can fish and boat on the lake, no swimming.
