Overall it's a nice campground. Hosts kept the toilets clean and well stocked. Water was provided by tanker truck but it was free. Fill up your RV before you show up as they won't let you have enough for that. Fishing was fun but all I caught were very baby bass. I wish their site map was more accurate. All the pull throughs had the door of trailer oriented correctly but the back in sites were all made for big rigs with door on right side of vehicle. My tent trailer fit OK but I had to walk around it anytime I wanted something as the door faced away from picnic table. Be careful of length of driveway when reserving as some were very short and intended only for tenters. Recreation.gov has the sites vaguely located but they really were all nice. Boat ramp is a little odd in that it's long concrete blocks which are supposed to be separated by gravel. The gravel had washed out in the lower blocks making for a rough ride for my kayak trolley.

Pleasant and helpful camp host’s. Immaculately clean restrooms. Beautiful lake with thru trail around. Poor fishing probably due to most of the stocked fish taken thru the summer. I’ll be back!

You hear train noise all night long, both whistles and the sound of wheels. This place is everything everyone says, beautiful, pretty lake, trees, nice Camp spots, etc. BUT, no one mentioned the trains? I read reviews, and was confused about why people talked about how quiet it is...true, between trains. Nice camping, bring your earplugs.
