What Guests Are Saying
Dogtown Lake Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and spacious campsites that provide a sense of privacy. The hosts are friendly and attentive, contributing to a positive camping experience. However, some visitors noted the lack of water access and additional fees for extra vehicles, which they felt were not justified given the limited amenities. Overall, it remains a popular spot for fishing and enjoying nature.

It was my first trip to Dogtown Lake Campground. It is an out-of-the-way place with beautiful scenery and very well-maintained. The dirt road to Dogtown Lake is rough, so take your time. We traveled from Las Vegas to Williams, AZ, via Interstate 40. It was harsher than the road to Dogtown Lake, and I started calling it the Pete Buttigieg Interstate. The campground host at Dogtown Lake recommended we go back to Las Vegas on Route 66, which connects to the 40 just passed Ashland; which is a smoother road, a little longer route, but it worked out very well.

This campground was very well kept. The sites were clean and the area was very quiet. The fish were biting and the crawfish were plentiful. Great experience.

We have been camping at Dogtown campground over the past 5 years and we always look forward to returning every year. The camp host are awesome and they keep everything working and clean. If you enjoy dry camping, this is the place to come to with your family.

For the price, we feel there should be at least a way to drain black water tanks and gray tanks. State Parks have places to do that for less per night. the campsite itself was nice. There need to be more campsites so a camper door does not face the road, not much privacy that way but we feel there was adequate spacing between sites and the trees were amazing! the grounds folks were very sweet and nice! The Maverick across I40 does have free dumping station.

The campground is very well maintained with excellent campsites and clean bathrooms. The fishing was excellent with the majority of the trout in the 14" to 17" range.

Commercial generators, or generators over a certain Db should be banned, regardless of time of day...
