What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Great USACE campground within 15 minutes of Conway, AR, and I-40. Level pads with water and electric. Dump station was easily accessible. Campground host was friendly and checked on park frequently.

Nice campground with a lot of shade. Camping by the lock and dam made the experience more enjoyable.

This is a very nice campground. Lots of room between sites. Friendly staff were available at the front kiosk. Campground is well maintained and the bathrooms were clean.

Stayed on sites D2 & D4. D2 was slanted but not severely. Beautiful and private. D4 was perfection. Can’t wait to come back and spend more time there.

Contrary to its name, this is a very clean nice campground. Paved camp spots with tables. Two nice play grounds. And a nice view of the dam and lick on the river. I will definitely stay here again.

We were in 2 different sites because a reservation at Chewalla was canceled due to a hurricane and we were able to spend those days at Toad Suck. Our sites D02 & D04 were both delightful. The park was immaculate and very peaceful.
