What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Site C02. Full sun. Listened to the barges going through the lock all night. Might not have noticed so much if we were in a camber. People constantly walking right through the middle of the campsite.

Campground is very clean and maintained, the bathrooms are cleaned daily. Loop A is where we like to stay because it is well shaded. I only wish that the bathrooms/showers have fans, during the summer they get very hot during the day. We saw one lady carry a box fan in with her.

You need to add 1 or 2 more shower house's and way better ventilation the existing ones are like saunas. Trim the dead out of the trees they look dangerous and try and get a 35 speed zone over bridge because the high way noise is horrible.
