What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Campground was clean and pretty quiet. Loved the view of the Arkansas River. Bathroom facilities are really nice. They were clean and personal. The bath house is divided into 4 separate rooms, each with a shower, sink, and commode. This makes me feel a lot better about my family taking showers on-site. Not far at all from Downtown Conway. Will definitely be staying again.

Stayed at Toad Suck from April 24,2024 to May 8th 2024 in campsite A6. Had a tree fall on a passing camper while there and the park rangers did not seem to know what they were doing or how to react. It rained eight out of 14 days. Park attendant (DL) seemed to be the most knowledgeable but was retiring.

This is one of our regular stops in Arkansas. We have relatives in the Conway area we visit often. It is nice to have a comfortable, well run, and well equipped campground so close. We enjoy watching the occasional barge go through the lock, too. Close to shopping and dining in Conway as well many attractions in Little Rock.
