What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

One of my top 3 camping stops on road trips west. Clean, clean restrooms and extremely friendly office couple. Overall, an absolutely almost perfect stay.

We are big fans of CofE campgrounds. One frustrating problem has been discovering a reserved site is too unlevel. We arrived at Toad Suck and received excellent help selecting a level camp site from among the available sites. We then reserved that site at rec.gov. Great hosts and great campground.

Toad Suck is a much nicer park than you'd think from the name

Toad Suck campground is beautiful, peaceful & serene. We enjoyed walking around the loops & down by the river. It seems to be very clean & well managed. We will definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

We stayed at Toad Suck Park for the eclipse and enjoyed the views of the Arkansas River and barge traffic through the locks. Park and bathhouse was very clean. Park is very close to Conway for quick shopping and restaurants. We also were able to make a day trip to Petit Jean State Park for a little hiking and site seeing. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely return in the future.

Great little park on the Arkansas River, we enjoyed sitting outside watching the barges go by. Site was plenty big enough for our 42’ 5th wheel. Be sure to check the description on sites as many were not level. Was able to get Dish signal from our site. Verizon signal met our needs. Nearby Conway has everything you need, Krogers, Walmart and a great Verizon store. It has been almost 10 years since our last visit and so glad we stopped again. Be sure to know the correct directions as some GPS will lead you astray. We plan to be back again.

The A sites by the fence were a little difficult to get into but with wiggling we got in. The sites are a little smaller on the A loop as far as space but your not on top of each other. I should say smaller as in green space. The bathrooms were well take care of & clean. They were actually spacious showers. We still enjoyed our stay and would definitely use it again if in the area.
