What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

I was very disappointed with this stay. The fire pit was full of trash. Normally I dig it out and leave it clean for the next camper, but the trash was nasty. I let the colter at registration know know and all he said was that they had ‘contractors’ who cleaned the sites. We’ll, our site was littered with cigarette butts and bits of trash - clearly it hadn’t been tended to for a while. And the bathroom sink looked like someone had decided to shave 7 months worth of a beard in the sink.

Easy access to the park. Great view of the river but those sites are not level; you'll need at least 3 blocks to level. Plenty of space in between sites. Shady and quiet. There is a boat launch ramp and saw lots of people fishing. Dump station on site. Took a day trip to Little Rock and had a somber tour of the Little Rock Central High School National Historic site. Our park ranger tour guide was fabulous! The tour is free and took 2 hours. Highly recommend both the park and tour

Nice area! We love watching the barges go through the lock & dam. I didn't care for the traffic noise but otherwise, a very relaxing time. Would recommend!
