What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Campground is nicely maintained, MOST sites are level and all have water and electric. Spacing between sites is generous, The park is really nice for day or weekend camping for couples are large group activities, We've seen the Boy Scouts camping here and earning merit badges during our stay. All of the sites have a heavy duty cement or steel picnic table and most of them are shaded/sheltered by a wooden patio cover. There are several pavilions available for birthdays, anniversaries, or any other celebratory event that (require reservations) could honestly hold 100+ people. The park is children and pet friendly. The park is paved with blacktop and the roads are very well maintained and large enough for the adults and children to enjoy riding bicycles. There are several overflow parking areas as well as a marina and the park is nicely and strategically dotted with trees. Pets (dogs and cats) are allowed and required (when outside) to be on a leash and they're not allowed to be left unattended in/out of the RV where they will be constantly barking or causing a ruckus. There is a gray/black dump site across from where you check in. Several trash dumpsters located in convenient areas. The Campground Host is a military veteran and is professional and very personable. I noted that he does make the rounds regularly in the campground to say hello and check that everything is ok. We've stayed at this campground many times and would not hesitate to go back. C-10 is our favorite spot, however, we've stayed in all the various areas there.

This is our second time staying here and both experiences were awesome! We travel from out of town to stay at toad suck! The ground is peaceful and the host was ALWAYS and still is very welcoming. (She left a map with my name to find my spot after a late arrival) Toad Suck ALWAYS have my vote.
