What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

At the time of year we went, it was very peaceful. We enjoyed watching the barges make their way through the locks. Other than not having sewer hookups, it was a great place. There of course was a dump station on the way out by the checkin so that would not be a deterrent for us to not come back. Sites were large and clean. Concrete table areas and some of the table areas are even covered.

They have installed landscaping blocks around the sites which are 3 or more inches higher than site pads where tables are located. Tripping hazards be careful camping there. Conway is a pretty town with everything to offer as nearby Little Rock. Lock and damn is located there and it is fun to watch boats and barrages through it.
