What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

This is a beautiful park right on the river. Sites are well spaced and mostly shaded. Grounds are impeccably maintained. Absolutely would come back again.

Don’t let the name fool you, Toad Suck doesn’t suck at all. The campground hosts were fantastic and very friendly. Be sure to wake up for the sunrise over the bridge.

I happen to pick a site with no trees for shade and it got HOT. There’s not much to do except walk or bike the short amount of roads and look at the muddy river. There were other sites there are shady and it’s nice to be close to town for shopping or dining.

This is a great park and campground. A lot of play equipment for the kids, level sires, friendly hosts. The only downfall is the Restrooms. They were clean but the design makes them very hot in the summer with little ventilation.

We had a terrific site at the end of the road across from the water. The RV hosts were so nice and gave us great directions.
