What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

The Stewart’s are great gate keepers. Glad Rufus isn’t there anymore. The Stewart’s care about the park and the people there.

Excellent staff (Camp Host), very clean restrooms/showers. Great view of the river locks and passing barges (all hours of the night). Site was 50amp with water. Single dump station near entrance to park and very convenient upon departure to dump and get on the road. Spent two nights before moving down the road. Will stay again if in the area.

C04 is right on the water. which is a great view. but it is on a steep hill, bent our fold down steps to camper. they were extended all the way out and still were not level. would not stay at this site or on this side of loop c as there are several that are similar to this on the same side. we have stayed in loop d before and it was great!

It’s one of the nicest park I’ve been in. Very quite, being the river very well shaded. Immaculately taken care of and the restrooms and showers are very clean and large and well-maintained with lots of hot water.

Had a great time, beautiful park! You can see some of the left over damage from the massive flood, that hit a few years ago. But, They have done an amazing job getting the park back up and running!
