What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Toad Suck has been one of our most favorite camping places. It is very relaxing, listening to the river flow and the birds chirping in the trees. Very clean and good hosts.

Park was nice, grass was mowed. Fire pits looked great.

The level site with new concrete driveway and patio that I was at in Loop C was excellent! Bathrooms were cleaned daily, but were messy with mud tracked in by people fishing on the river who weren’t camping at Toad Suck Park. The Park Attendants were most helpful. I hope the gravel road leading to the park will soon be paved.

When we made this reservation, it was just for one night and we weren’t expecting much from the pictures, we were pleasantly surprised! And the lady who was working the front was so nice!

We had a great time at Toad Suck!
First off, our site, C4, was beautiful!
Second, during our stay, the area was quiet. A lot of day use people were there at different pavilions, but there was never a noise issue.
Third, the bathroom/shower room were extremely clean and the toilet tissue was well stocked. I was very impressed with the cleanliness.
Lastly, the park attendants were very nice. Although we did not personally meet them (due to checking in after they closed the little check in office), they were super nice to us over the phone.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! :)

This is a great campground. The improvements to the park are wonderful. The bathhouses are amazing and the cleanest I have ever seen. The attendants are very friendly and helpful. I give this park 5 stars!
