What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

This was an excellent place to stay. Extremely safe at lots of interesting things around the park. I travel with a small dog and
It was enjoyable to walk him in many grassed areas. Bathrooms were very clean as the whole park did not have any trash laying around at all. I initially was staying for 3 nights and expanded it to 9.
This is an excellent park for families and you can fish right from the campground.

The grass around the campsites was knee high. There were also so many stickers in the grass, we could only let our dog go in one tiny space. If we hadn't had a concrete slab to walk around our camper, we would have left. We encountered many other campers saying the same thing.

Stepping out of the car I was immediately hit with an earthy smell, immediately followed by the wonderful smell of pine trees, not quite overwhelming though, the perfect amount. The air is fresh, and theres a beautiful view of the river!!

We love it here. The only thing is that our site and other areas were not mowed this time and there were so many sticker burrs. They got all over our dog’s paws and our shoes.
